As a creative maker looking for potential job opportunities for when I graduate from university, I believe that having a strong online presence is essential. I am interested in directing my promotion of my work at potential employers, other creatives and anyone that finds my work of interest. Having shared my work since the beginning of college I enjoy the process of sharing what I love doing on a daily basis and showing the passion I have for modelmaking, Illustration, and creative thinking.
I have found that Instagram has been the most engaging social platform I have come to use, it is easy to find other creatives learning and connecting with them, as well as Instagram's flush interface and appealing design which helps make your work look good and professional.

When creating content on Instagram I like to show each stage of the creative process, showing the designing, making and the finished result; keeping each stage as a separate posts will keep your followers engaged making them more likely to keep up with your future posts. It helps to keep posting daily as this constant pattern will get you noticed by your followers more and means you will show up on the discovery page more often.
My current aim when using Instagram is to use IGTV and stories more often to engage with new people, potentially creating quizzes, public Q&A's and monthly shout outs of my favourite artists.

Having only recently started using LinkedIn I am still getting used to all the ways I can promote myself and connect with other people and companies. LinkedIn is becoming more and more popular and currently is the largest business-oriented networking platform aimed at professionals, it will allow you to research companies that you would want to work for and finding clients for freelance work, among many other things. I will continue to learn more about how to promote myself using LinkedIn in order to gain more job opportunities.
I use Pinterest frequently to get inspiration and ideas for my new projects, it helps me expand my imagination as well as finding new upcoming artists. Only recently I have started making my own posts linking them to my professional Instagram and using Pinterest's business feature, I am able to see the insights and analytics of my posts and see how many people are getting directed to my other social media accounts.
