Working with a client and having more of a tight schedule means a lot of planning and good use of organisational skills, both of which I am still learning and trying to perfect. There are many different ways of planning your time efficiently to make sure you get the work done.

To-do List
Making sure you complete your task is so much easier with a to-do list. I have found that creating a list either the night before or the morning of, makes for a more successful day and the satisfaction of checking something off my list makes me work harder and better to cross the next thing off my list. It also helps with organising, knowing what and how much you have left to complete.
Setting Goals
Prioritising your most important tasks and setting your goals will also help by giving you an overall aim to get to that isn't as overwhelming as lots and lots of tasks. My overall goals were to design and create three creative and durable goblins for my client.
Knowing You Deadline
I believe everyone is guilty of forgetting the deadline date at least for some time until it creeps up on you and you only have a few weeks left to complete your work. If you know you are susceptible to this then do ensure you won't forget, put up post-it-notes anywhere you work just so you have that little reminder to make sure you are prepared.
know yourself
If you don't know already try to work out how you work well. This may seem quite vague but everyone works well differently for example I know I am a morning person so I always wake up early and prioritise my more important work for when its light and when it starts getting dark I will switch to written work that I can easily complete without needing the light. Another requirement is having a good way to document when, how and what you're doing, which may be using a Gantt chart, organising app, calendar or a diary. A handwritten dairy is what I find the most helpful as writing things down cement the information in my head better than if it were on a computer.
